What is the Club Pass?
The Club Pass (CP) is a special designation that allows a registered player to compete with more than one team within their own club during the same season.
This is designed for player development, roster flexibility, and internal club collaboration, helping players grow while maintaining league integrity and competitive balance.
🎯 Purpose of the Club Pass

To offer high-performing players the opportunity to “play up” an age group for advanced competition

To ensure clubs can flexibly manage rosters and maintain player participation across multiple divisions

To promote a development-first philosophy across all teams under a unified club structure
💵 Club Pass Cost

$58 per player for each additional team they are approved to play on (outside their primary roster)

Players must be fully registered on their primary team before being eligible for Club Pass designation
📏 Rules & Limitations

Players may only Club Pass to teams within the same club
✅ “Club” means same club name, same uniforms, and registered under the same GotSport account

Clubs must:

Have a shared registrar/contact person

Maintain matching uniforms with club logo

Be managed under the same GotSport master account

Players may only play in their age group and above
❌ No CP allowed to younger divisions

A player cannot play for two teams in the same age group, even with CP
-
CP is limited to intra-club movement only, not between different organizations (even if under the same league)

Recreational teams may only CP within other recreational teams

Club Pass players must be pre-approved by the coach, and schedule conflicts are not guaranteed to be avoided
⚠️ Important Club Pass Exceptions

👧 Female players may:

Play in their girls’ age group, and
-
Also CP into a co-ed/boys’ division of the same age group

⚽ In divisions offering two formats (e.g., U8–U10: 5v5 and 7v7):

Players may play in both, as long as divisional rules are followed

📋 Club Pass Registration Process
Step 1.
Player must be registered with their primary team
Step 2.
Coach must approve and assign the player to a secondary team
Step 3.
Player completes Club Pass registration with required team info and pays $58 CP fee
Step 4.
League will verify eligibility and update both rosters accordingly
